This Privacy Policy explains how InstaRez ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the InstaRez mobile app and website. By using InstaRez you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, phone number, preferred language and, if you choose, a profile photo.

Reservation data: the businesses you book, appointment dates and times, and any notes you add.

Location data: with your permission, your approximate or precise location is used to show businesses near you. You can deny this and browse by category instead.

Device & push data: a push notification token and device platform so we can send you reservation updates.

Sign-in data: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your basic profile (name and email) from that provider.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account and authenticate you.

To let you discover businesses, view availability and make and manage reservations.

To send you notifications and emails about your reservations (confirmations, changes, reminders).

To provide customer support and respond to your requests.

To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Sharing your information

We share the necessary reservation details (such as your name and phone number) with the business you book, so it can prepare for and manage your appointment.

We use trusted service providers to operate InstaRez, including cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure), push notifications and email delivery (Google Firebase), maps (Google Maps) and sign-in (Google, Apple). These providers process data only on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal data.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time by emailing support@instarez.app.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional data such as location.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's privacy

InstaRez is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
